Got my final results back today. I'm so happy, two A-'s, four B's and a C+!!
Which means I have achieved the B average I need. Have to keep it up for two more years though!
Fox has settled in well. Already he's eating his hard feed again with his normal gusto and generally looking chilled and happy. The swelling has been up and down but still on a downward trend which is good. He looked a bit stiff through his pelvis yesterday so I gave him a good massage that seems to have helped.
Looking forward to doing some more riding but the weather gods have not been kind. Where oh where has Summer got to?
On a completely unrelated note, I am shaving my head tomorrow for the Child Cancer Foundation so if anyone is keen to donate let me know.
Hey! Glad to hear your little (*big*) fella is doing better! My horse has been ill with an upper respiratory infection, weather was good to ride, but I couldn't ride her. I will reassess her health this weekend has it will be 2 weeks since the end of the treatment. I plan on giving her the time she needs to fully recover.
ReplyDeleteKudos on the hair! I don't think I would have the guts to do what you are about to do. My mom had cancer and she lost all of her hair. I was the one who shaved the last bits of hair left on her head (they were falling by the handfull). Broke my heart to have to do that. I secretly cried because I didn't want to upset my mom more than she already was. I think that loosing her hair bothered me more than her. She had quite a battle to lead and hair was the last thing on her mind... like she said:" At least I wont have to do my hair every day". Cancer is a hard illness, I had to give my mom injections after every chimo treatment. She won her battle and has been in remission for 4 years. Good luck!
